The Stern Defense Mod5 upper is a complete AR-pattern 9mm upper built around an 8.5 inch Melonite-treated steel barrel and a 10 inch Mod 5 M-LOK handguard. It ships assembled with a Glock-cut bolt, dust cover, forward assist and an SD CH1 enhanced charging handle. The barrel is threaded .5-36 and the receiver is 7075-T6 anodized aluminum. This upper is made in the USA and intended for use on Glock-cut 9mm lowers or with compatible Stern adapters.
